DURATOPFUSE: Spray and Fuse Process

Metallurgical bonding for extreme wear resistance and longer life

DURATOPFUSE™ Process: extended wear protection through carbide fusion.

The DURATOPFUSE™ process applies a tungsten carbide protective coating to the surface of the component, which is then fused with the base material to significantly extend its service life. The result is a metallurgical bond that delivers an extremely wear‑resistant coating, with high resistance to impacts and chipping.

Robotic process with controlled fusion

The entire Fuse Carbide Coating process is carried out using robotic systems under controlled temperature conditions, ensuring a perfect and homogeneous fusion between the coating and the base material. This controlled process guarantees consistent quality and optimal performance of the coating.

High hardness with controlled coating thickness

The hardness levels achieved range from 650 HV up to 1050 HV, depending on application requirements.

The coating thickness can be precisely controlled, ranging from 0.15 mm to 2 mm, allowing the solution to be adapted to different working conditions.

Ideal solution for irregular surfaces

This extended‑life solution is particularly recommended for irregular or complex geometries, where the coating must be thin, precise and uniform to maintain the original shape and functionality of the component.

Recommended applications

The DURATOPFUSE™ process is highly recommended for components subject to intense wear, such as:

  1. Cutting tools
  2. Threshing components
  3. Similar high‑wear agricultural applications
